Engineer: Systems and Network Support Specialist

Big Sur Technologies is seeking an experienced MSP Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our IT support group, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and building our clients’ network infrastructure. Responsibilities:

• Network Maintenance: Demonstrate proficiency in technical networking skills, including configuring and troubleshooting Server OS, firewalls, switches, VLAN, routing, and wireless access points.
• Cloud Expertise: Utilize your experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 to enhance our cloud-based services.
• Data Migrations: Manage data migrations efficiently and securely.
• Consulting and Communication: Present solutions effectively in a consulting role, leveraging your strong communication and people skills.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly within our team environment, contributing to project work and routine service visits.
• Service Tickets & Projects: Work will include multiple level tasks, break fix service and projects including project lead. Candidate is flexible to work on tasks of any level.
• Ticket Management: Utilize the ConnectWise ticketing system for efficient ticket closure.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for all tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

• Education: A college degree or technical school education with relevant certifications is required. Degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields are preferred.
• Certifications: Possess certifications such as CompTIA Network+, AZ104, AZ500, or equivalent.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience working for an MSP is preferred. 7+ years of overall IT experience necessary.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
