Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development practices and experience with various programming languages and technologies.

Duties

• Design, develop, and implement software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, and Java.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to create user-friendly web applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between different systems and services.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain version control using GitHub and SVN.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
• Utilize cloud services like AWS and Azure for application deployment and management.
• Engage in Agile development practices including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Maintain databases using MySQL or SQL Server for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Work on front-end development tasks using frameworks such as React or Express to enhance user experience.
• Contribute to application development projects involving IT infrastructure, Linux environments, and quantum engineering concepts when applicable.

Experience

• Proven experience in software development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, C++, C#, .NET, VBA, SQL, and RESTful API design.
• Experience with web development technologies and frameworks such as React or Express is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of application security principles including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
