Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building robust software solutions and possess a strong background in various programming languages, cloud platforms, and web development frameworks. The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications, APIs, and web interfaces, with a focus on delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy software applications using languages such as Python, PHP, Javascript.
• Design, build, and maintain backend APIs for shipment manifest reporting and insurance claim processing
• Develop and maintain cloud-deployed systems on AWS
• Integrate U-PIC systems with external e-commerce platforms and partner APIs such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Shipstation
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and improve technical solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve reliability and performance of production systems
• Follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability

Skills

• Strong experience with IT infrastructure in AWS. AWS certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and/or PHP, with a solid understanding of Front-end development techniques.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design principles (REST, APIs) for seamless integration across services.
• Experience working within an Agile environment with GitHub for version control.
• Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL.
• Understanding of security best practices such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for application security.
• Ability to work on both application development (Application development) and infrastructure projects involving Linux systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
