Elberta Valley Ag is seeking a self-driven and collaborative Systems Administrator to join the IT Support team and provide end users world-class technical support while representing the IT department through resolution of business unit and division-level systems issues. The ideal candidate is successful independently and works as a supportive member of a cohesive team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide resolutions for tickets submitted using the support systems and ensure end users understand how to use support systems efficiently and submit tickets properly.
- Provide server administration including for core back-office applications.
- Respond promptly and courteously to support requests, calls, emails, and other electronic communications.
- Properly document and maintain support tickets of incoming requests for service.
- Analyze performance of support activities and documented resolutions to identify problem areas.
- Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes and systems.
- Keep organized and accurate inventory of computing system components.
- Support a variety of IT projects, products, and team tasks.
- Coordinate, verify, and validate vendor activities.
- Assist with network equipment installation.
- Upkeep industry knowledge and development of technical skills through continued education.
Qualifications:
- Previous relevant experience in IT, help desk, and/or systems administration.
- Familiarity with any of the following system or processes: O365, Windows OS, IT Asset Management, endpoint mgmt, mobile device management, technical onboarding, equipment inventory management
- H. S. diploma or equivalent. Advanced degree in a technical field desired (Info Systems, IT, Computer Science).
- Relevant certifications and/or a proactive effort towards obtaining continued education in IT.
- Strong demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively communicate concepts, using verbal and written skills to technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Skilled at troubleshooting, following through on issues/tasks, research/analysis and customer service.
- Able to work overtime and after-hours to meet deadlines, and travel to various office locations, as needed.
