Con-Vey has an Industrial Automation Controls Engineer job opening available. Join our growing team in Roseburg, Oregon where you will work for our Electrical Controls Department to design and program automated industrial control systems.

As the Controls Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design PLCs, HMIs, servo controls, and industrial robotics. You will be involved in all aspects of design control, programming, testing, and fine-tuning the system you helped develop.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Electrical/Mechanical knowledge and ability
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to use AutoCAD
• PLC programming (RS Logix)
• Travel required (approx 25%)

Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are required
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D modeling
• Proficiency with office software, especially MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work independently and in groups
• High degree of attention to detail
• Must be high energy and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in wood products industry is a plus

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
