Job description
Salary $80,000 - $90,000 / Depending upon experience.
We’re looking for a Director of IT and Service Delivery who enjoys keeping complex systems running reliably, securely, and efficiently. This role blends hands-on technical work with operational coordination, supporting infrastructure, cybersecurity tools, change management, and service delivery across a growing technology services environment.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day technical operations supporting servers, networks, and security systems
- Coordinate incident response, troubleshooting, and service restoration when issues arise
- Manage system changes and service requests using structured change management practices
- Support and maintain a cybersecurity stack including firewalls, EDR, SIEM, VPNs, and segmentation tools
- Help ensure systems and processes meet internal security and compliance standards
- Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve service quality
- Assist with client onboarding, infrastructure improvements, and technology upgrades
- Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and operational best practices
Technical Environment You’ll Support
- Virtualized server environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)
- Windows and Linux systems
- Firewalls, switches, access points, and secure network segmentation
- Cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, EDR/MDR/XDR, DLP, Zero Trust, and monitoring platforms
- Cloud and hybrid environments (Microsoft, Azure, AWS – exposure preferred)
- Data center and infrastructure operations
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7 years of experience in technical operations, systems administration, or network administration
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and virtualization
- Familiarity or has experience to learn deeper networking fundamentals (routing, switching; BGP/OSPF a plus)
- Experience working with security tools and operational IT processes
- Ability to document work clearly and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
- Comfortable handling incidents, prioritizing tasks, and working in a service-driven environment
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience in managed services or regulated environments
- Exposure to ITIL-based change, incident, or problem management
- PowerShell or automation experience
- Industry certifications (Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Fortinet, ITIL, etc.)
- Mentoring or informal leadership experience
Work Expectations
- Full-time role with standard business hours
- Occasional after-hours support for critical incidents or planned changes
- Hands-on, operations-focused position with room to grow
