We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Service Titan System Builder to join our innovative IT team. Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive system architectures utilizing Service Titan platform integrations, ensuring seamless operation within broader IT infrastructure.
• Build and configure robust solutions leveraging technologies such as RAID controllers, VMware, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Implement and manage APIs, RESTful services, microservices architectures, and automation scripts using languages like Python, JavaScript, Bash, and PowerShell to optimize system workflows.
• Administer and troubleshoot diverse operating systems including Windows, Linux, UNIX, and ESXi environments to ensure high availability and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions using databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and NoSQL options like Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Maintain system security by configuring firewalls, VPNs, DNS settings, DHCP services, and implementing best practices in information security.
• Support DevOps practices through CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and version control systems.
• Conduct system performance tuning involving load balancing techniques and system monitoring tools to ensure optimal uptime.
• Document system designs, configurations, procedures, and incident reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Experience

• Proven experience in systems engineering or architecture within an IT environment with a focus on service management platforms such as Service Titan or similar SaaS solutions.
• Strong background in system administration across multiple operating systems including Windows Server environments and Linux distributions.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies like VMware ESXi or Hyper-V as well as container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms including AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), computer networking concepts (VPNs, DNS), load balancing strategies, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience developing APIs using RESTful standards; scripting skills in Bash or Shell Scripting; proficiency with DevOps tools like Jenkins or Git for automation workflows.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Agile; experience working on solution architecture projects involving microservices design patterns.
• Educational background in computer science or related fields; certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA) are a plus. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
