Mobile/Web Application Developer

$90,000 to $100,000 per year plus 10% bonus; commensurate with experience

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking application developer with strong expertise in mobile and web application development (Java, Spring, SQL, JavaScript, React) to join our team.

We’re looking for a creative, self-driven, and proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate will not only bring hands-on experience but also demonstrate a track record of using cutting-edge AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to significantly enhance productivity, code quality, and innovation in development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
• Leverage generative AI tools and APIs throughout the development lifecycle for:
• Rapid prototyping and ideation
• Code generation and refactoring
• Automated documentation and test creation
• Troubleshooting and optimization
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business needs and deliver intelligent, user-centric solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer reviews.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI to improve team velocity, code quality, and development operations.

Required Technical Skills

Mobile App Development

• iOS (Swift): Proficient with Xcode, App Store submission, WebKit for WebView.
• Android (Java): Familiar with Android Studio, WebView, Play Store compliance.
• Push Notifications: Experience with Firebase, AWS SNS, or equivalent.
• Native APIs: Geolocation, camera, storage/file uploads.

Web Technologies

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React (functional components, hooks, state mgmt).
• Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) and hybrid mobile frameworks.
• Deep understanding of modern frontend tooling, debugging, and performance tuning.

Backend Development

• Java (OOP, Core Java) and Spring (MVC, Boot, REST).
• API integrations with SaaS systems and internal platforms.
• Authentication: OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security.
• SQL: Query optimization, relational modeling, joins, indexing.
• Version control using Git/Bitbucket; CI/CD pipelines.

AI Integration Skills (Strongly Preferred)

• Proven experience using generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) in daily development.
• Ability to translate business requirements into AI-augmented workflows.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM-based debugging, and productivity toolchains.
• Comfortable evaluating AI-generated code for correctness and performance.
• Optional: Experience building or integrating AI features into user-facing applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High adaptability to new tools and evolving technologies.
• Passion for continuous learning and improving development efficiency.

Bonus Skills

• Bash/shell scripting.
• Experience with cross-platform toolkits (e.g., React Native, Flutter)
