We are seeking a results-oriented IT Manager to manage our company's computer infrastructure and manage our IT resources. You will be upgrading and installing hardware and software, performing troubleshooting to resolve IT issues, maintaining our networks and servers using your knowledge along with our third party managed services vendor.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers with the assistance of a third party managed services provider.
- Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware, software, and communication systems to meet company objectives.
- Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
- Creating user accounts and performing access control.
- Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
- Maintain secure and effective system for data back-up and recovery.
- Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
- Build and maintain inventory tracking system for hardware, software licenses, and communication system equipment. Manage software license purchases and renewals.
- Manage relationship with third party managed service provider, ERP software vendor, and other IT vendors.
- Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
- Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification.
- At least four years of experience in a similar role.
- Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
- Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with ERP software. Experience with Global Shop Solutions desired but not required.
- Experience in report writing, Dashboard development, SQL and data base administration.
