The Role

Fidelity Investments has a phenomenal opportunity for a Software Engineer in Test with software development skills. This individual will be responsible for ensuring high quality through all phases of application delivery and contribute to the team's test automation landscape. This role will be part of a dynamic Scrum team within Fidelity’s Contact Center & Data Excellence division. This is a hybrid role based in Westlake, TX.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject area, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years in Software Quality Engineering roles
• Proven experience working in Scrum / Agile methodologies
• Proven technical skills (e.g. Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, and SQL)
• Experience in testing distributed applications and their interactions across microservice architecture
• Practical experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Karate, and Playwright)
• Passionate about delivering on behalf of the business for the benefit of our end customers
• Ability to work in a fast paced, globally dispersed, Agile environment
• Deep technical acumen and an engineering mentality
• Ability to adapt to new environments and learn in-house developed tools

The Team

The ideal candidate is a Quality focused professional with experience in quality engineering aspects of application delivery in an agile environment across global locations. Working within the Workplace Investing (WI) - Quality Engineering organization, you will support Contact Center desktop applications focused on UI and API capabilities within WI Technology!
