Overview:

We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to design and implement complex Internet and intranet applications across one or more platforms.

This role involves working within an Agile process and requires strong knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Ext JS, JSON, HTML, and XML. A solid understanding of SQL and database design concepts is also important.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Writing technical design documentation
• Performing code reviews and unit testing
• Supporting user, system, performance, and regression testing
• Ensuring system quality assurance and compliance with installation and security policies and standards

The core application is written in Perl; however, we prioritize strong web development skills over specific experience with Perl. Developers with experience in similar languages, such as Python or PHP, will also be considered.

Additional Information:
This is a hybrid position. Initial training may require being onsite, after which the schedule will transition to a hybrid model—typically one day per week on-site.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in web application development – prefer full stack experience
• Experience with PERL, Python, or PHP
• HTML/JavaScript/CSS
• Experience working with the customer to develop requirements
• Self-motivated person who takes the initiative to accomplish project goals
• Desire to learn

Skills - required
