Senox Corporation is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our IT team!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installing and updating operating systems, applications, drivers, patches, and security tools
• Backup and recovery / Business continuity and Disaster Recovery

o Cybersecurity

o Production Server & Critical System Outage Plan / High Availability

o Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity

• Manage licenses of all software
• High availability planning, deployment and administration
• Continuously plan for next release of Windows, window server software
• Provisioning and troubleshooting servers
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal reference
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Perform regular system monitoring and audits to ensure system health, security, and uptime
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize IT systems for various business needs
• Provide ticket support for servers and software systems including ERP

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of server management including installing, patching and maintaining servers and virtual environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments and related technologies.
• Experience creating and managing data backup strategies, ensuring data integrity and being able to restore data in case of emergencies
• Experience writing scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline system management processes.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and automated deployment tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Linux, Cisco) are a plus.
• Experience working with an ERP (Epicor Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $89,650.00 per year
