Summary
As a UX/UI Designer at Upkid, you will play a vital role in enhancing the user experience for our platform. Located in a dynamic environment, you will contribute to our mission of connecting educators with fulfilling job opportunities while ensuring our digital products are user-friendly and visually appealing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and gather requirements to inform design decisions.
- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Axure.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Utilize feedback from users to iterate on designs and improve overall user experience.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering and translating them into effective design solutions.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Axure, Sketch, or Figma is preferred.
- Familiarity with web technologies including JavaScript, SASS, and responsive design principles.
- Experience designing for mobile devices is a plus.
- Knowledge of project management tools like Jira is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $81,156.00 - $89,094.00 per year
