Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative System Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and building relationships with customers. The System Engineer will collaborate across departments to develop robust solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices.

*The candidate will work remotely from Arizona, but go on site to clients in the area when needed

Responsibilities

Ø Provide remote IT Support relating to issues with internal systems and network infrastructures.

Ø Provide remote support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, O365, Exchange etc.

Ø Provide remote support services for virtualization technologies with VMware.

Ø Provide remote technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and switching.

Ø Provide remote support for disaster recovery solutions.

Ø Provide remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, etc.

Ø Provide occasional onsite support to customers in the area.

Ø Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructures in accordance with internal procedures.

Ø Communicate with customers and internal team.

o Inform all of incident progress and notify them of impending changes and agreed outages.

Ø Maintain service awareness and understanding of all organization key IT services, support tools, and techniques used to provide services.

Ø Maintain and monitor client networks.

Ø Escalate service or project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels.

Ø Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.

Ø Work with the Support Desk Service Manager to ensure requests are routed to the proper resource fo quick and efficient resolution.

Ø Serve as T-3 Service Desk Escalation support.

Ø Enter time and expenses, work through a daily schedule, and enter all work as service or project tickets in AT.

Ø Provide on-call support as part of Bizco’s on-call schedule.

Ø Represent Bizco in a positive manner to customers and the community.

Ø Mentor and assist Jr. engineers, as required.

Ø All other duties as assigned.

Ø Maintain client business acumen such as specific knowledge of the customer and how IT relates to their business strategy and goals.

Qualifications

Ø 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or comparable role

Ø Professional IT Certifications preferred but not required.

o Microsoft MCSA or MCSE, SonicWall CSSA, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP or M365 / Azure certifications

Ø Valid driver’s license

Pay: $65,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
