Job Summary
The IT Administrator will perform daily and weekly IT operational tasks with a focus on IT asset procurement, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management. This role ensures all IT expense assets are properly acquired, tracked, and aligned with forecasted budgets to support site-wide and project-based initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform procurement, receiving, and asset management activities for all IT expense assets.
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking for all IT equipment.
- Ensure procurement aligns with forecasted budgets and supports regional, local, and shop-initiated projects.
- Lead local site services and project procurement activities, including creating requisitions in Ariba and maintaining the AP100 system.
- Monitor and track checkbook budgets to ensure accurate financial oversight.
- Manage asset and inventory issues, escalating concerns to site management as needed.
- Oversee equipment auditing, tracking, receiving, and reconciliation processes.
- Provide hands-on oversight of capital equipment across a 9-million-square-foot facility, ensuring effective asset management on the plant floor.
- Operate in a highly mobile role, supporting asset visibility across the entire site.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing IT assets.
- Hands-on experience with IT asset lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with procurement and inventory tracking.
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting and/or budgeting background.
- Prior experience with Ariba Procurement and budget management.
