Job Summary
CTIS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator with 8+ years of experience to support our data infrastructure and ensure the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL Server, ETL processes, and BI tools (SSIS, SSRS) and have a strong background in performance tuning, scripting, and data modeling.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.
- Design and implement complex reporting solutions using SSRS.
- Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery operations.
- Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of databases and queries.
- Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
- Design and support data modeling, replication, and synchronization strategies.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure database solutions align with business requirements.
- Automate recurring database tasks and processes through scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell, etc.).
- Monitor database health and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and ETL development.
- Proven experience with database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and replication.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling and complex stored procedures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., T-SQL, PowerShell).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant DBA certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a federal contracting or healthcare IT environment.
- Familiarity with cloud database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS).
- Experience in Agile environments.

Pay: $98,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
