Got a knack for code? We’re looking to add a Software Engineer to the goBILDA® electronics team! The primary focus will be robotics-centered electronics. This role is centered around building and deploying a series of programs packaged as a Node.js based desktop app to interact with, configure, and update many high-level products in the robotics space. Primary product lines include (but are not limited to) brushed, brushless, and stepper motor controllers, servo signal generators, PWM signal mixing, switching power regulators, and LED lighting. There will be ample opportunity to learn and grow, as these are core values in our R&D department and company culture—our mindset helps to provide a rare opportunity for our team of engineers to follow ideas from concept to production. Preferred Education

• B.S. in Software Engineering, or Computer Science, or Web Development, or similar professional experience

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Develop applications and interfaces that will help users configure products
• Work closely with Embedded Software and Electrical Engineers
• Learn, understand, and help maintain our web environment alongside our lead Web Developer

Required Skills

• Excellent coding
• Basic understanding of C style languages (C, C++, C#), HTML, JavaScript, CSS/Sass, and Git
• Collaborative and inter-departmental teamwork, with effective communication

Preferred Additional Skills (or skills willing to learn)

• Experience in embedded firmware development
• Basic understanding of circuit design, schematic development, and PCB layout
• UI/UX design
• Windows application development
• Basic understanding of windows driver implementation
• Basic understanding or experience with web serial
• BigCommerce theme development
• Handlebars
• React

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
