We are seeking a results-driven IT Manager with automotive dealership experience to lead our technology infrastructure and ensure seamless IT operations across departments.
Job Summary:
As the IT Manager, you will oversee all IT systems and technologies at our dealership. Your responsibilities will include managing network infrastructure, dealership management systems (DMS), cybersecurity, technical support, and vendor relationships. Prior experience in the automotive retail industry and familiarity with platforms such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily IT operations including hardware, software, and network infrastructure
- Manage, maintain, and optimize the Dealership Management System (DMS)
- Ensure cybersecurity protocols are enforced and kept up-to-date
- Lead IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and system integrations
- Provide technical support to dealership staff and resolve issues promptly
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
- Train staff on new systems and IT best practices
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an IT Manager or similar role in an automotive dealership
- Knowledge of DMS platforms (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.)
- Solid understanding of network administration, cybersecurity, and hardware support
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, VoIP systems, backup and recovery tools
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
