Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in storage arrays, servers, virtualization, and network/system infrastructure. You'll work closely with clients and our internal team to help provide secure, stable, and high-performing network environments.

Potential Responsibilities (Based on experience and knowledge)

• Infrastructure Management: Administer, configure, and maintain Windows servers, storage arrays, virtualization platforms (VMware, ESXi, Hyper-V), and cloud services (Azure, AWS).
• Data Storage & Backup: Implement and monitor RAID configurations, support backup and disaster recovery solutions, and ensure data redundancy.
• Performance and Monitoring: Conduct system monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and implement load balancing strategies to optimize resources.
• Troubleshooting: Help diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and database issues.
• Network Operations: Help manage system infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and network segmentation.
• Documentation: Help create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Help lead infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and migrations.

Qualifications

We're seeking a driven, adaptable professional who thrives on solving problems and taking ownership. Preferred skilled and experience:

• 2+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
• Hands-on knowledge of servers, storage arrays, and virtualization.
• Proficiency with Windows Server environments, AD, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Strong networking background including VLANs, firewalls, switching, routing, and VPNs.
• Scripting skills for automation and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and communication skills for working with clients and Karhu team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
