Job Overview

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) originally established itself as the major testing area for naval guns and ammunition. Today, it continues to provide the military with the development and integration of warfare systems for the warfighter, warfighting, and the future fleet. NSWCDD’s mission is to deliver warfare systems to protect our nation and defeat our adversaries. The vision is to design, develop, and integrate technologically superior, 21st century warfare systems. NSWCDD has a broad and diverse Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDTE) portfolio with an emphasis on warfare systems development and integration. NSWCDD is determined to standardize and automate processes and procedures to become more efficient, structured, and transparent in its mission to provide services such as RDTE, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems. They have a need for a Sr. Data Analyst to provide an array of customer IT support services to the staff

Requirements:

• Six (6) years of professional experience in relation to analysis, design, and development related to data warehousing and integration capabilities.
• Experience with requirements developing definition and application designs in the form of logical data models, data interface specifications, on-line query and report specifications, structured query language (SQL), database performance loading specifications, and data validation specifications.
• Experience with data warehouse development and design, data knowledge acquisition, legacy conversion specifications and design of data structures/load specifications, and knowledge of Working Capital Fund and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), financial, and human resources systems methods and strategies for data warehousing.
