Position Overview

Seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join the AGS design team to develop engaging, themed miniature golf experiences. Skills include creative storytelling, gameplay design, and practical construction and fabrication knowledge to create fun for guests of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

· Design themed mini golf holes and work with themed suppliers to ensure required quality

· Develop creative obstacles, features, and interactive elements

· Utilize AGS obstacles in play

· Balance gameplay to ensure holes are fun and challenging

· Plan space allocation, course flow, player movement, and ADA accessibility

· Produce concept sketches, layout plans, and design presentations

· Collaborate with construction teams to ensure designs are buildable

· Incorporate landscaping, lighting, and visual elements to enhance the guest experience

Required Qualifications

· Experience in landscape design, architecture, themed entertainment, or game design

· Strong creative and visual design skills

· Understand the need to enhance player experience and gameplay mechanics

· Understand the use themed scene materials

· Strong collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Skills

· Experience designing mini golf, amusement attractions, or themed environments

· Basic knowledge of construction

· Familiarity with CAD, SketchUp, or 3D design tools

· Experience with landscape architecture or environmental design

· Knowledge of lighting, water features, and interactive elements

· Ability to create concept art or 3D visualizations
