Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's information systems and data from potential threats. You will work closely with IT teams to ensure the integrity and security of our network infrastructure while implementing best practices in cybersecurity. This position requires a strong understanding of various security frameworks and technologies, as well as the ability to respond effectively to incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and potential threats.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems.
  • Develop and implement incident recovery plans to minimize impact during security breaches.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system security measures and protocols.
  • Maintain documentation of security incidents, responses, and recovery efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as FedRAMP, COBIT, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the management of identity access management systems to control user access.
  • Analyze network protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP for potential vulnerabilities.
  • Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity best practices.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of incident recovery processes and methodologies.
  • Proficient understanding of network infrastructure components and protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as FedRAMP and COBIT.
  • Experience in system security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks related to cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of identity access management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess risks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members.

Pay: Up to $115,000.00 per year
