Job Description
As our Director of Technology, you will own the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of the technology that powers our business. This is a hands-on, player/coach role for a leader who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving real problems, and partnering closely with the executive team to turn strategy into results.
You will own how the business actually runs through our systems including ERP, eCommerce, integrations, and infrastructure, ensuring workflows work, data is accurate, and technology supports the business today and as we grow.
- Own the ERP platform end-to-end, including configuration, customization, integrations, data integrity, upgrades, and performance
- Lead the hands-on implementation, configuration, optimization, and support of business-critical systems while partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Customer Service to design, improve, and document end-to-end business workflows
- Own the design, integration, and reliability of business intelligence and analytics, ensuring accurate, trusted data and dashboards that enable leaders to make timely, data-driven decisions across operations, finance, sales, and marketing
- Support and enable IoT and connected device initiatives, including connectivity, data flow, monitoring, security, and integrations
- Own IT security, risk management, and disaster recovery operations, including audits, incident response, vendor coordination, and testing
- Manage IT support operations (helpdesk, onboarding/offboarding, hardware, access management), ensuring strong service levels and accountability
- Lead, mentor, and develop the technology team while managing priorities, vendors, and departmental budgets to deliver results efficiently

Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge and skills:
- 8+ years of progressive IT or technology experience, including 3+ years leading teams, projects, or core technology functions
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting production systems, including ERP, eCommerce platforms, cloud/SaaS applications, integrations, and core infrastructure
- Strong working knowledge of ERP platforms and how they support workflows, data, and business operations (manufacturing, distribution, or eCommerce environments preferred)
- Solid understanding of data architecture, system integrations, and business intelligence/reporting
- Experience managing IT infrastructure and operations, including cloud services, identity/access, endpoints, backups, and security controls
- Proven experience overseeing IT support operations, including helpdesk, onboarding/offboarding, and hardware/access management
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and business-partner skills with the ability to translate technical solutions into operational outcomes
This position requires manual dexterity for typing, sitting at a desk, and looking at a computer screen and typing for long periods of time. In addition, portions of the position require the Director of Technology to shadow other departments that may require physical activity, including lifting 25-35 pounds and standing for long periods of time.

Availability
You must be available to work between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday – Friday, with the occasional evening or Saturday for projects that must be done outside of regular business hours.
