About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Linux Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. This role involves implementing kernel & user space applications onto embedded devices. The role requiring expertise in Linux Kernel development and strong C/C++ programming skills. As a customer-facing engineer, you will work on-premise at our client's facility, making strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Port and optimize software libraries for embedded devices.
- Work extensively with the Linux Kernel, including driver development and system-level debugging.
- Develop and maintain code in C/C++, with scripting in BASH and Python.
- Collaborate with customers to define technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level performance issues in embedded environments.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong Linux Kernel development experience, including driver modifications and debugging.
- Proficiency in C/C++ user-space applications, with scripting experience in BASH and Python.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a customer-facing role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment.
- Required to work on premise in San Diego, CA.
Preferred:
- Prefer experience with Zynq SoC.
- Prefer experience with waveform radio technology.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
