Insider Threat Analyst

Xcelerate Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Insider Threat Analyst to support the FBI’s Insider Threat Office (InTO). In this role, you will contribute to the detection, deterrence, and mitigation of risks posed from within the organization. Active Top Secret/SCI with ability to obtain Counterintelligence Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized analysis and production support
• Provide intelligence and threat analysis of information that is tailored to InTO requirements
• Review and evaluate incoming reports and information, collection plans, and programs
• Write clear, concise, and timely reports by interpreting and synthesizing diverse data sources
• Develop technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations, and other required deliverables
• Present briefings to stakeholders as designated by program leadership.
• Identify and utilize relevant data sources to clarify or corroborate investigative
• Access both classified and open-source databases.
• Research and analyze data from designated systems and databases to identify relevant information, organize findings, and format reports per InTO standard operating procedures

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree OR minimum of 4 years of military or federal service (may substitute for degree)
• At least 4 years of direct experience performing administrative, analytical, or research tasks related to national or operational security
• Proficient in standard computer applications, including Microsoft Office and web browsers such as Google Chrome

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency or exposure to programming/scripting languages such as SQL, Python, and C++
• Relevant cybersecurity or technical certifications are a plus
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA/UPA), log analysis, and communications monitoring
• Strong skills in data management, transformation, and manipulation
• Experience with threat hunting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud environments
• Working knowledge of Power BI is highly desirable
