Overview
Lee & Mason is seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer and Systems Administrator to oversee our IT infrastructure, lead the migration from our on-premise environment to AWS, and ensure the ongoing performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems. This is a hands-on role for a technical expert with a strong background in cloud architecture, automation, and systems administration.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Lead the migration of on-premise virtual machines (VMs) to AWS
- Administer Windows and Linux servers across environments
- Collaborate with the development team to automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency across IT operations
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Utilize version control systems such as Git for infrastructure and configuration management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer Networking, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
- 4+ years of experience managing virtual servers and SAN storage
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting
- Experience with database platforms such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform (preferred)
- AWS certifications (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
