Job Title: Solution Architect

Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead the design and solutioning enterprise business applications, custom tools, integrations, and data architecture. This role will be instrumental in shaping scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in architecture of modern data platforms such as Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake along with experience in Microsoft application development stack, including .NET, Azure, and SQL Server, and mobile app development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect end-to-end solutions for business applications, integrations, and data platforms aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Design scalable and secure application architectures across domains including Sales, Service, Parts, Finance, and HR.
- Define and evolve the enterprise data strategy and architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and enabling scalable, future-ready platforms.
- Establish and enforce data governance and compliance frameworks, including data quality, lineage, metadata management, and regulatory adherence.
- Design and implement cloud-native and hybrid data architectures, leveraging platforms like Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake for scalable storage, processing, and analytics.
- Develop and maintain enterprise data models and standards, including conceptual, logical, and physical models, naming conventions, and documentation.
- Partner with product teams to design custom solutions using the Microsoft stack, including .NET Core, SQL Server, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Power Platform.
- Work with engineering teams to lead mobile app development initiatives using native or cross-platform frameworks integrated with enterprise systems.
- Architect robust data integration solutions, ensuring seamless interoperability across legacy and modern systems using APIs, ETL/ELT, and real-time streaming.
- Plan and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems to modern platforms, ensuring data integrity, minimal disruption, and business continuity.
- Set up architectures and frameworks to support AI and machine learning initiatives, including data preparation, model integration, and deployment pipelines.
- Establish best practices for application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Define and enforce architectural standards and governance, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with enterprise IT policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, application development, or enterprise systems design.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Data platforms: Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake
- Data modeling and pipeline development
- Microsoft .NET Framework / .NET Core / C#
- SQL Server, SSRS and T-SQL
- Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Data Factory, Synapse, Logic Apps)
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Mobile app development (Xamarin, MAUI, or React Native)
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and HRIS.
- Familiarity with retail operations and business processes is a plus.
- Proven experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
