JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work with project teams to design and deliver high quality client-centered, effective, consistent and usable interfaces.
· Work closely with business analysts, business sponsors, project managers and IT teams to obtain and understand business requirements.
· Create the design of user interface specifications, by applying client research, design standards, industry best practices, considering strategic business objectives, user needs, and systems constraints.
· Participate in design review sessions with project teams, acquiring consensus and getting approvals on designs and documentation.
· Execute business acceptance test cases and testing.
· Work with the project managers to ensure that usability deliverables accommodate project timelines, budgets, technical and scope constraints.
· Contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of efficient and effective usability methodology/process, documentation, workflow, ROI, metrics and design standards.
· Act as a user experience advocate regarding principles of user experience and user-centered design.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Bachelor’s degree in human factors/usability or related field with 8-10 years’ experience.
· 3+ years’ UX design experience.
· 3+ years’ experience with design tools such as Figma (required 1+ years), Sketch and other UX/UI software.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Proven experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
· Comfortable working autonomously with product and engineering teams.
DESIRED SKILLS:
· 3+ years’ experience designing complex systems or applications.
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Problem solving by determining the best course of action, within departmental guidelines, from many existing solutions.
· Communication for needed investments, architectural changes, or business needs to ensure solutions can be created to deliver the best experience possible.
