Job Description

Old West Iron is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving shipments and processing them, stocking shelves, and prepare, inspect and package the products for shipment.

A successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED. General knowledge of computers is required. A successful candidate will have a basic organization skills and ability to inspect for quality control.

Essential Functions:

• Receive shipments and verify contents.
• Restock inventory shelves and supply shelves.
• Process incoming orders into inventory.
• Receive, sort, and label outgoing materials.
• Receive, sort, label and store incoming supplies.
• Maintain logs of received items, storage areas, and inventory changes.
• Maintain accurate records of received items and inventory changes in the company’s computerized system.
• Maintain accurate records of outgoing items, storage areas, and inventory changes in the company’s computerized system.
• Maintain a clean work environment by maintaining clean shelves, drawers, etc., and must be able to maintain a clean warehouse area at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Touch up small blemishes on product finishes

Requirements:
·High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have reliable transportation to shop location in all seasons.
·General knowledge of shipping software packages is preferred. General knowledge of inventory procedures and systems preferred.
·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision while performing other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
