We’re looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer who’s passionate about crafting beautiful, intuitive digital experiences and ready to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Job Summary
As a Junior UI/UX Designer, you’ll collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design user interfaces that are functional, accessible, and visually engaging. You’ll contribute to every stage of the design process — from user research to wireframes, prototypes, and final design delivery.
A Day in the Life
- Start your day by joining the daily Agile stand-up with developers and product owners to align on priorities.
- Review user feedback and analytics data to identify areas for UI or usability improvements.
- Create or refine wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma or Adobe XD for upcoming product features.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design accuracy and troubleshoot visual or UX issues before release.
- Participate in design reviews, get constructive feedback, and iterate on your designs.
- Document patterns, colors, and layouts in our design system to maintain visual consistency.
- End your day by presenting your work to the product team or exploring new UI/UX trends to share at the next team sync.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate on user research, journey mapping, and usability testing
- Translate business goals into clean, functional, and engaging designs
- Maintain consistency through the design system and style guide
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation
- Contribute creative ideas that improve the overall user experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of professional or internship experience in UI/UX design
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Proficiency in understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React, Next.JS and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in converting Figma to Next.js
- Familiarity with mobile application design principles.
- Knowledge of usability principles, information architecture, interaction design, and responsive web design.
- Experience with data visualization techniques and analytics tools like Google Analytics and Omniture.
- Ability to conduct user research and gather business requirements effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform A/B testing and analyze results for continuous improvement.
- Strong visual design skills: typography, layout, color, and spacing
- Basic understanding of responsive design and accessibility (WCAG)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Online portfolio required (with examples of web or mobile design work)
