Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Epicor Consultant to join our team and provide expert guidance on enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system architecture, solution design, and IT infrastructure, with experience in implementing and optimizing Epicor ERP systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that align with organizational goals. The Epicor Consultant will also be responsible for integrating various technologies, ensuring system security, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Epicor ERP solutions, leveraging expertise in system design and architecture.
• Develop and implement integrations with third-party systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and other web technologies.
• Design and optimize ETL processes for data migration, reporting, and analytics purposes.
• Manage IT infrastructure components including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization (VMware, ESXi), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Ensure system security through configuration of firewalls, VPNs, network security protocols, system hardening, and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with development teams utilizing DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
• Support system administration tasks including database management (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), load balancing, DNS configuration, DHCP setup, and GPO management.
• Participate in SDLC activities including Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Provide technical guidance on service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices architecture, and solution architecture best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to operating systems (Windows/Linux), network configurations, and application performance.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement information security measures aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Epicor ERP consultant or similar ERP solution architect role.
• Strong understanding of system architecture principles including cloud security, system hardening, and threat intelligence.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, and scripting for automation purposes.
• Hands-on experience with web services (RESTful API, SOAP), APIs development, and integration techniques.
• Knowledge of database systems including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL; experience with database optimization is a plus.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware ESXi and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Experience working within Agile environments utilizing tools like Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of network protocols including DNS, DHCP, VPNs; experience configuring firewalls is preferred.
• Background in information security practices including vulnerability management and system hardening strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues across multiple platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect are advantageous. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $99,785.22 - $120,171.45 per year
