Job Summary:
The System Administrator (IT Manager) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and leads implementation projects that continually improve the company's systems. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures empower team members to do their jobs as effectively as possible.
Duties:
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc.
- Install and configure systems such as help desk or Asset Management applications.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all system hardware on a regular basis. Upgrade and configure system software as needed, keeping company software up to date.
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economic benefits. Review and improve data security policies and procedures.
- Provide support per request from all users within in the company. Investigate and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- During off hours, if there is an issue that affects productivity, billing, or anything else deemed urgent, you may be required to be on-site to resolve the issue.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
- Create and run reports as directed by management. Analyze large amounts of data.
- Assist customers with use of company systems and technology, such as the customer portal.
- Occasionally attend IT/systems related seminars and training.
- Travel requirements: This individual may be required to travel to any of the company's facilities and will be reimbursed for mileage.
- Other requirements: This individual is a Core manager and attends Core meetings.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year

Work Location: In person
