Amtelco is the leader in developing SQL-based applications that are an open platform for critical interoperability in Healthcare and Commercial markets throughout the United States. We have received more than 30 U.S. Patents for telephony software, data handling methodologies, and telephone switching devices!
We’re actively seeking a skilled Integration Implementation Engineer in our Customer Care department that will ultimately contribute to our mission of working with our family of customers to provide the very best products and support while creating a successful long-term partnership.
This full-time position is based at Amtelco’s corporate headquarters in McFarland, WI and reports to our Director of Project Management. Determined by your director, the benefit of a hybrid workplace model occurs at different times for each employee based on job performance.
How will I make an impact?
- Perform deep-dive analysis to understand and solve integration needs between data sources and applications
- Support integration planning based on principles of reusability, security, scalability, and quality
- Work with Solution Architects to build an integration strategy based on principles of reusability, security, and scalability
- Provide thought leadership in helping develop integration technology and business strategy
- Provide leadership to problem-solving activities where the resolution may involve multiple vendors or internal Amtelco groups
- Provide input and design assistance during the implementation of technical designs and plans by the supplier(s)
- Work on multiple highly complex and interdependent projects simultaneously
- Work with Project Management, Implementation, and Software teams to deliver integrations to new and existing customers
- Establish implementation practices to deliver scalable integration solutions including documenting for future use
- Other duties as assigned
What does success look like in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associate degree required
- Deep hands-on experience with multiple integration solutions and architectures, integration and API engineering, cloud technologies, and data
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to break down technical concepts and communicate them to an audience
- Strong understanding of Web API paradigms such as REST, SOAP, and GraphQL
- Strong understanding of application-layer communication and provisioning protocols, including SCIM, WCTP, SMTP, and SIP
- Sound knowledge of authorization and authentication standards like OAuth and SAML
- Experience with API management tools like Postman, Swagger, and cURL
- Ability to be hands-on as well as strategic for solutioning
- Experience in an answering service or healthcare environment helpful

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
