As a Data Scientist on our Partner Services Team, you will design and implement high-impact experimentation, price optimization, and product recommendation programs to drive product adoption and revenue growth for our partners.
To excel in this role, you'll bring proven experience in ideating growth initiatives and deploying algorithms for real-time product recommendation and pricing. A strong foundation in statistical and machine learning methodologies is essential, along with significant experience working with the intricacies of machine learning systems, beyond just tool application. You'll collaborate closely with internal product growth teams and external partners to ensure the achievement of key revenue growth metrics.

Your role will require you to be able to use internal data to formulate and test hypotheses relating to various aspects of business performance.

You will design and implement algorithms to optimize yield, with a special focus on Contextual Bandits for product recommendation and pricing.

You will also be responsible for developing use cases using Large Language Models and multimodal AI tools, with emphasis on model evaluation.

You will identify opportunities to continuously improve systems and processes.

Research and closely follow emerging trends in applied AI and associated softwareDefine performance metrics and build reports/ data pipelines.

3+ years practical, hands-on experience with various Machine Learning and statistical testing techniques.

Master's or PhD in Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other Quantitative fields.

Familiarity with contextual bandits and revenue management methodologies.

Hands on experience with deep learning models

Strong SQL skills.

Comfortable working in a DevOps environment with a basic understanding of the principles (such as DBT).

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on product delivery.

Exceptional communication, able to explain statistical concepts to diverse audiences.

A quick learner who embraces new challenges and is not hesitant to push boundaries.

The cash compensation range for this role is between $140,000 and $185,000.
- This is a hybrid role based in our San Francisco office, with in-office days on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
