Embedded Systems Engineer

Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Embedded Systems Engineer to lead the development of nextgeneration altimeter products. This individual will collaborate closely across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines to bring concepts from idea through prototype to production.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop Concepts of Operation (ConOps) and convert into engineering specifications
• Integrate prototype hardware and embedded software during development
• Develop test procedures, test fixtures, and acceptance criteria
• Generate and maintain schedules, documentation, and phase-control deliverables
• Investigate and resolve production or field-reported technical issues
• Support redesigns for component obsolescence
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ experience developing or testing small electronic products
• Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering concepts
• Familiarity with regulated development environments (e.g., ISO-9001, AS9100)
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (required, ITAR)
• Able to work on-site at DeLand, FL facility and live in the greater area.
