Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Security Analyst:

• Ensuring the security of institutional assets by applying baselines to systems, performing endpoint product maintenance, and troubleshooting arising problems
• Monitoring systems for gaps and ensuring timely installation of patches and updates
• Conducting security assessments to identify weaknesses in hardware, software, and network infrastructure, and communicating any issues to respective parties
• Investigating and analyzing potential incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing measures to prevent similar incidents in the future

Required Skills for Security Analyst:

• Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area OR 2-4 years of professional experience
• Proficiency with cybersecurity tools like CrowdStrike, BeyondTrust, Zscaler, Rapid7
• Experience with multiple operating systems including, but not limited to macOS, Windows, and Linux
• Experience supporting desktops, servers, and/or networking devices for an organization
• Security or network administration certifications and/or any other training or certifications related to technology services and customer support are a plus
• Experience in a healthcare background is highly desirable
