As we continue to expand our reach, we are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Web Developer with experience working with Drupal and WordPress to join our dynamic team.
Primary Responsibilities:
As an Associate Web Developer at CTS, you will play a key role in creating, maintaining, and improving client websites. You will be responsible for ensuring the security and functionality of web applications, designing user-friendly interfaces, and implementing responsive designs. Your ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
- Design and develop accessible, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces using Drupal and WordPress websites to ensure usability on all devices and improve user engagement.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Keep websites and plugins up-to-date and secure while delivering clients’ website specifications.
- Monitor and maintain security best practices and performance standards.
- Collaborate with the lead and senior developers, designers, project managers, and coordinators to gather requirements and suggest solutions.
- Work with the support team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Test to ensure security, stability, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
- Keep up to date with UI/UX trends, platform updates, and security practices, then incorporate them into your development workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, graphic design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Drupal and WordPress.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and templating languages (Twig for Drupal and PHP for WordPress).
- Knowledge of CMS architecture, including custom content types, taxonomies, and menus.
- Understanding responsive design and accessibility standards.
- Proficiency in debugging and patching code, UI/UX design, and following best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to learn rapidly and utilize new knowledge efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.06 - $40.87 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
