Join Our Team as a Strategic IT Account Manager

Are you passionate about both business strategy and technology? Do you enjoy working directly with clients to make a real impact on their success? We're looking for a Strategic IT Account Manager to join our Business Alignment team and serve as a trusted advisor to our managed IT services clients.

In this role, you'll lead strategic technology planning for small to mid-sized businesses, helping them align their IT investments with real business goals. You’ll build strong relationships, deliver clear recommendations, and support clients through long-term growth, security improvements, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Be the Trusted Technology Advisor: Guide clients with IT strategies that align with their business goals, including creating roadmaps and budgets.
  • Lead Client Relationships: Conduct Quarterly Strategic Business Reviews (QBR/SBRs), manage client steering committees, and become a go-to partner for executive-level decision-makers.
  • Reduce Risk & Improve Operations: Help clients improve cybersecurity posture and ensure their technology is current, efficient, and cost-effective.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with technical alignment engineers and internal teams to ensure seamless client experience.
  • Drive Results: Monitor client success metrics, identify growth opportunities, and support client retention and service excellence.
  • Leadership Role: As a key person in managing our clients, candidates with management experience will help lead and develop other Strategic IT Account Managers, optimize internal processes, and contribute to team capacity planning and KPIs.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, IT, or a related field
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Solid understanding of business operations, budgeting, and technology strategy
  • Experience presenting to C-level leadership and making impactful recommendations
  • Proven experience selling to or consulting with small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs)
  • Confidence in discussing topics like cybersecurity, system lifecycle, and ROI
  • Bonus: MSSP or IT Account Management experience, or a technical certification (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
