The Snowflake Senior Solutions Architect at Squadron Data is the technical and trusted technical advisor for our customers. They improve value, share experience, and implement solutions. At Squadron Data, we work on some of the most complex data platforms in the United States and Canada. Our customers challenge us with interesting new big-data processing requirements each and every day. We rely on our Senior Solutions Architects to strategize and lead customers to solutions. This involves use case discovery and implementation, large-scale data platform and engineering migrations, data engineering / data warehousing implementations and optimizations, Semantic Layer Creation, Cortex Agent Orchestration and Cortex Code (CoCo) based Application Workflows.

What We Look For

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in customer-facing technical roles - no freshers

· Proven experience as a technical lead in a cloud migration project

· Deep Technical Skills

· CoCo Mastery

· Full understanding of the Snowflake Data and AI Cloud – Cortex Agents, Cortex AI / Snowpark ML, Snowflake Openflow, Snowpipe, Snowpark, SnowSQL, SnowConvert, Snowflake Horizon, Snowflake DW, Streamlit.

· Domain knowledge across one of the following verticals: Financial Services, Insurance, Oil & Gas / Manufacturing, Health Care and Life Sciences

· Experience with cloud architectures

· Languages: Python and SQL

· Familiarity with the end-to-end data analytics workflow

· Experience with databases and data warehousing

· Problem solving skills, those that apply to a 'big data' environment.

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Nice To Have

· Experience with two or more legacy platforms: Hadoop, Databricks, Teradata, Netezza, Cloudera, Cloud Native.

· Experience implementing Apache NiFi / Snowflake Openflow.

· Fluency with cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

· Fluency with distributed streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)

· Background in machine learning or working with ML tools and services.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year

Work Location: Remote
