This position will support and enhance our IT infrastructure across manufacturing, distribution, and corporate environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business, partnering with internal teams, and ensuring systems run smoothly to support day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems
• Manage and support Windows-based servers, Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and group policies
• Monitor system performance, network availability, backups, and security protocols
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for network and system-related issues across the organization
• Support and maintain ERP systems, partnering with operations and leadership to ensure system reliability and uptime
• Assist with system upgrades, patches, hardware refreshes, and technology improvements
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and access issues in a manufacturing and office environment
• Document network configurations, procedures, and IT best practices
• Collaborate with vendors, MSPs, and internal stakeholders as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in network and systems administration
• Hands-on experience supporting network infrastructure and Windows-based systems
• ERP system experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Must live locally in the Chicago suburbs and be able to work on-site

Preferred Experience

• Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or industrial environments
• Familiarity with virtualization, backup solutions, and basic cybersecurity best practices
• Experience supporting both office and production-floor technology

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
