Pileum Corporation is a Systems Integration and Technology Consulting firm with locations in Jackson, Mississippi; Knoxville, Tennessee; and Nashville, Tennessee. We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Systems Engineer in Choctaw, MS to provide customer support services, implementation services and technology consulting services. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Windows Workstations Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, hardware and software troubleshooting, local area networking and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills. Certifications with Microsoft, AWS, Networking Technologies are a plus. Experience with VMware, routers, switches, firewalls, or Servers is also a plus.

Compensation commensurate with experience and certification level. Each Systems Engineer is provided an excellent benefits package, mileage reimbursement, company provided laptop, company-provided iPhone and parking space.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform routine server maintenance, monitoring, patching, and troubleshooting (Windows Server environments)
• Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues (onsite and remote)
• Deploy, configure, and maintain workstations (Windows 10/11, laptops, desktops)
• Manage and support VMware environments, including virtual machines, hosts, and basic troubleshooting
• Configure and support networking equipment, including switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and VLANs
• Assist with user account management (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, permissions, MFA)
• Respond to support tickets and incidents in a timely and professional manner
• Document systems, processes, and recurring tasks
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects
• Follow security best practices and company standards

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• 2+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role
• Strong understanding of Windows Server and workstation environments
• Experience with VMware or similar virtualization platforms
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic network troubleshooting
• Experience supporting end users in a professional environment
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Possess excellent troubleshooting skills
• Possess excellent organizational skills
• Possess leadership skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft, VMware or other certifications is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
