Cyber Trust Analyst
Location: Herndon, VA (Onsite – 3 days/week, up to 5 days as needed)
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

About the Role
AiGenius is seeking a Cyber Trust Analyst to support a major enterprise cybersecurity organization. This role functions as a key contributor within the Security department and focuses on security trust operations, risk communication, audit responses, and customer-facing security assurance.
The Cyber Trust Analyst will partner with Security, IT, Compliance, and business units to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality communication of security, privacy, and risk controls to internal and external stakeholders—including customers, auditors, and leadership.
This role requires strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, and deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer security inquiries, questionnaires, and due diligence assessments
- Review and analyze incoming security questionnaires and prepare complete, accurate responses
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Security, IT, Compliance, Legal, Operations) to gather required input
- Develop clear and professional external communications addressing specific security or risk concerns
- Draft statements related to elevated threat environments or emerging cybersecurity issues
- Support internal privacy, security, risk, and IT audit inquiries
- Brief management and leadership on security trust trends, risks, and operational updates
- Recommend improvements to strengthen trust operations, communication processes, and security posture
- Collaborate across departments to improve efficiency, maturity, and effectiveness of security trust activities
- Document best practices and develop recommendations to enhance overall security controls
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or security technology roles
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Information security concepts, technologies, and controls
- Network architecture, tools, and security fundamentals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with major security and risk frameworks such as:
- NIST, HIPAA, PCI, SOX, DFARS, ISO/IEC standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as:
- CISSP
- CISM
- GIAC certifications
- Additional security or risk-related certificate programs
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
