Overview
Seeking a hands-on DevOps & API Integration Engineer with strong Azure APIM and backend development experience. Hybrid role in Chicago involving CI/CD, API engineering, cloud deployments, and production support.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend services (.NET) and REST APIs.
- Manage API lifecycle using Azure APIM (policies, versions, gateways).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Implement IaC using Terraform and manage cloud deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform RCA.
- Optimize API performance, security, and scalability.

Required Skills
- 5+ years in DevOps + Backend API development.
- Hands-on Azure APIM experience.
- Backend coding in .NET Core, Node.js, or Java.
- Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
- Terraform or other IaC tools.
- Strong debugging and production support capabilities.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
