Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development technologies and a passion for creating efficient, user-friendly web applications. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites and web applications, ensuring they are optimized for performance and usability.
Duties
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to create seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable code in languages such as JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.
- Implement unit testing to ensure the reliability of applications.
- Manage version control using SVN and collaborate on projects using Ansible.
- Work with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL to manage data effectively.
- Enhance existing e-commerce platforms by integrating new features and functionalities.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions to improve application performance.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in JavaScript, with experience in frameworks such as React or Angular Shopify preferred.
- Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress.
- Experience with database management using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of unit testing methodologies and best practices.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and related technologies is a plus.
- Experience with development tools such as Visual Studio is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
