IT Security Analyst is a full-time role that plans, implements, and monitors measures to protect an organization's computer networks and systems from security risks. This role involves assessing / patching system vulnerabilities, responding to security breaches, analyzing security trends, and installing security measures like firewalls and data encryption. In addition, they diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software components to ensure the smooth operation of all computer systems for Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari. IT Security Analyst responsibilities include installing and configuring computer hardware and being the primary point of contact for IT support at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari. This role routinely interacts with various departments and assists with their technical needs.
Work Requirements

- Identify, assess, and mitigate network vulnerabilities
- Proficiency in SIEM tools
- Create IT Security policies, procedures, and standards
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on parks’ computers/peripheral, servers, telecom equipment and physical security measures (access, locks, keys).
- Maintain cable infrastructure throughout the parks including networking, telephone, audio/video, and security cameras.
- Support servers, backup, and daily maintenance of servers in a virtual environment
- Assist with IT maintenance and installations throughout the parks
- Provide support for corporate-wide software applications and provide desk support for all users in the park
- Provide on call support and problem resolution for computer and telephone applications
- Work with vendors to resolve software application issues
- Stay abreast of technology trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance
- Document maintenance/service calls on equipment and activities
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree or associate degree in computer science, cybersecurity or a related field
- 3-4 years of prior IT and/or networking experience
- Knowledge of basic networking and telephone systems
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Must be able to work under and meet deadlines
- Excellent follow-up, exhibit creative and logical problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
- Ability to work cross functionally with all levels of employees and management
- Willingness to travel overnight to attend and participate in seminars, meetings, and conferences out of town
- Ability to work full-time
- Acceptable pre-employment drug screen and background check
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work in sunny, hot, cold, windy, rainy, noisy environments
