Brightest Bio is growing, and we’re looking for a hands-on Lead Architect / Software Engineer to help shape the future of our biomedical technology platform. Based in Overland, MO, this role sits at the heart of our innovation—working directly in our lab alongside scientists, engineers, and product teams to build the next generation of high-performance instrumentation and cloud-connected systems. As we scale, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining our technical direction while still staying close to the code.

We’re seeking someone with strong software architecture skills, Rust experience (especially for embedded systems), solid Python capability, and a strong command of AWS services. Familiarity with Ubuntu Core / SNAP is a bonus.

This is an in-lab role, with the potential for some work-from-home flexibility over time.
