IT Security Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Security Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity and eager to grow their skills in a dynamic environment. You will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining the security of our IT infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, and supporting the implementation of effective security measures.
Job Duties:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from various tools and systems to identify potential threats.
- Assist in investigating and responding to security incidents, including root cause analysis and documentation.
- Analyze emails for threats such as phishing and malware.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and improve security protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Support the review of access controls and permissions across systems.
- Conduct research on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation for incident reports, security policies, and training materials.
- Provide assistance with employee security awareness training and phishing simulation exercises.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service is a must! Looking for a motivated, self-starter that is also eager to learn.

Compensation:
- Competitive rate based upon level of experience.
