The Role

We're looking for a software engineer who builds to last—someone who values craftsmanship, precision, and reliability over quick fixes. You'll work on full-stack applications that directly support laboratory operations, robotics integration, and automation systems that impact global health and safety.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design solutions from the ground up, collaborate directly with end-users, and make meaningful architectural decisions that shape our technology foundation.

What You'll Build

• Full-stack applications using modern cloud-native architecture on Azure
• RESTful APIs that power laboratory automation and robotics systems
• Scalable, maintainable solutions designed for long-term stability and performance
• Integrations connecting laboratory equipment, data systems, and business applications

Your Impact

• Translate complex laboratory workflows into intuitive, reliable software
• Work directly with scientists and lab personnel to understand real-world needs
• Architect solutions that balance immediate functionality with long-term maintainability
• Contribute to coding standards and engineering best practices across the team

What You Bring

Required Experience

• 3+ years of professional full-stack software development
• Front-end expertise: Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills; React experience highly valued
• Back-end proficiency: Solid object-oriented programming foundation; .NET Core experience preferred
• API design: Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Database skills: SQL and relational database design (MSSQL experience a plus)
• Engineering mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to code quality

Bonus Points

• Azure cloud experience: App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Application Gateway, or AKS
• DevOps familiarity: Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration
• Testing practices: Unit testing, integration testing, test automation frameworks
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
