We are a growing SaaS company providing a powerful procurement and inventory management platform for our customers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Part-Time IT Manager to own our internal IT operations, improve processes and documentation, and ensure our systems remain secure, reliable, and compliant.

You’ll work closely with leadership, engineering, and customer-facing teams to manage our IT environment, support end-users, and guide our long-term IT strategy without the expectations of a full-time role.

What You’ll Do

As our Part-Time IT Manager, you will be responsible for:

Compliance & Governance

• Manage audit-related IT tasks (access reviews, evidence collection)
• Support SOC 2 / ISO27001 readiness activities

IT Operations & Support

• Maintain and enforce backup and disaster recovery processes and policies
• Manage onboarding/offboarding: accounts, devices, permissions
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and internal knowledge base

Systems & Security Administration

• Manage host provider and server software
• Oversee devices: patching, updates, endpoint protection
• Monitor security alerts and recommend improvements

Infrastructure & Tools Management

• Manage network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, WAN/LAN configurations, Cisco routers, network support and Active Directory.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency.

About You

You’re a self-directed IT professional who enjoys working with small, fast-moving teams. You bring structure, reliability, and a security mindset to internal IT operations.

Proven experience managing enterprise-level IT operations with a focus on computer networking, server management (Windows Server), database administration (Microsoft SQL Server), and systems engineering.

Required Skills

• 5+ years managing IT systems (SaaS experience preferred)
• Solid understanding of security best practices
• Network troubleshooting skills
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server

Nice-to-Have

• Experience supporting distributed/remote teams
• Experience with SOC 2 and GDPR

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week

Experience:

• MFA: 2 years (Preferred)
• Cybersecurity: 3 years (Required)
• Soc 2: 2 years (Required)
• GDPR: 1 year (Preferred)
