Job description

Washington Capital offers a great opportunity for a qualified candidate eager to join a well-established Seattle firm which prioritizes teamwork and fostering employees' professional growth within the company.

We are seeking a C#/.NET Developer to join our Data Management and Analytics team. This role will involve the development, enhancement, and maintenance of both desktop and web-based applications that support our investment operations. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and a strong foundation in .NET technologies, with a good sense for clean code and scalable design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain internal desktop and web applications using C#/.NET and front-end technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work with Entity Framework for data access and manipulation.
  • Maintain version control using Git and participate in code reviews.
  • Develop and enhance front-end components using HTML, CSS, jQuery, etc.
  • Integrate and consume APIs for data exchange between systems.
  • Design and implement ETL components for loading data into internal databases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs.
  • Document code and maintain technical specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development using C#/.NET.
  • Experience with Entity Framework and relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of MVC and MVVM design patterns.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Knowledge of ETL processing.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with VSTO and Microsoft Office add-in development.
  • Experience with OpenXML or ClosedXML libraries.
  • Exposure to API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with investment management or financial services industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
